**Location Requirement**: Must reside in Utah.
**Essential Functions**
- Investigate and respond to travel-related member questions and complex complaints, recommending solutions to sell international and domestic vacation packages, cruises, tours, hotel, car rental, rail, and air travel through video conferencing and telephonic channels.
- Initiate contact with members and past customers to prospect for new business and encourage repeat business.
- Update and maintain accurate and compliant member account files.
- Process and interpret travel documents for members purchasing travel products, informing them of governmental requirements.
- Cross-sell products and services, such as insurance (P&C, Life) and new membership accounts.
- Research, evaluate, and compare appropriate travel partner packages to match member needs, specializing in international travel.
- Stay current with world events and the latest travel industry developments and trends, providing relevant information to members.
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Experience with GDS (Apollo/Galileo/Travelport) is required.
- Detailed knowledge of travel products.
- Ability to clearly communicate (verbal and written) in English.
- Proficient in delivering compelling sales presentations remotely through video conferencing and telephonic channels.
- Skilled at using multiple applications simultaneously and providing clear and proficient verbal and written communication.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Outlook) and industry-specific applications (e.g., Galileo, VAX).
- Knowledge of worldwide geography, the ability to read and interpret maps and brochures.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to use sales techniques, product knowledge, and listening skills to identify member-specific needs and generate new sales.
- Reliable to work a schedule that may include weekends/holidays and adhere to your assigned work schedule.
- Enjoy working from home with a dedicated workspace free of distractions/noise, including a desk, chair, and the ability to hardwire your internet connection.
- Self-motivated sales drive and documented sales success.
- Application of good judgment and decision-making.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
**Education, Competencies, Certifications/Licenses**
- **Minimum Qualifications**: High school diploma plus 3 years of sales, call center, and travel experience, including billing.
- **Preferred Qualifications**: Sales experience in the travel industry and bilingual communication skills.
**Working Environment / Minimum Physical Requirements**
- Works in an office environment sitting at a desk, table, or computer workstation for extended periods of time.
- Requires bending and lifting (up to 15 pounds).
- Approximately 95% of the time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer.
