Description We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Manhattan Beach, California. This is a Contract to permanent position within the retail industry, providing an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development. The role involves handling post-audit billing research and data management tasks that require accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: - Perform extensive data entry to ensure accurate processing of financial transactions. - Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to post-audit billing and pricing errors. - Analyze customer payments against billed amounts to identify and clarify inconsistencies. - Utilize portals and multiple screens to research transaction details and resolve disputes. - Assist in audits by verifying billing information and ensuring compliance with pricing standards. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address billing issues and clarify payment discrepancies. - Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve data accuracy. - Maintain organized records of billing adjustments and audit findings for future reference. - Support the team in ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial tasks. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related field. - Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy. - Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other data management tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills for resolving billing and payment discrepancies. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Recent graduates in accounting or related fields are encouraged to apply.
