Description Robert Half is seeking a meticulous and organized Accounting Clerk for one of our esteemed clients. This is a great opportunity for professionals who are passionate about numbers and analytics and excel at maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities + Perform data entry and ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. + Reconcile accounts and assist in resolving discrepancies. + Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests. + Maintain and update accounting records, including ledgers and journals. + Provide support for accounts payable and receivable functions. + Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings. + Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient financial operations. Requirements + Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred. + Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP). + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work efficiently under deadlines. + A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.
