Position Overview:

Now Hiring: Assistant Property Manager

 

Hours: Full Time, Monday- Thursday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Location: Great Neck, NY

Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000

Summary:

Are you a natural communicator with a knack for multitasking and a passion for property management? We’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager who’s ready to jump in, take initiative, and help keep our properties running smoothly and efficiently! As our Assistant Property Manager, you'll be the go-to person for ensuring tenant satisfaction and supporting day-to-day property operations. You'll work closely with Property Managers, building engineers, and vendors to make sure everything from maintenance requests to move-ins runs like a well-oiled machine.

What you will be doing:

  • Communicating with tenants and responding to service requests
  • Coordinating repairs, construction, and compliance checks
  • Tracking service contracts and work orders
  • Supporting move-in/move-out logistics and tenant communications
  • Performing building walkthroughs and assisting with accounts payables
  • Keeping things organized — from documentation to schedules
  • Helping ensure our properties always meet top-notch standards

 

What you will need:

  • Associate degree or 3+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s a plus!)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), and lease understanding
  • Experience in property management procedures, budgets, and legal compliance
  • A detail-oriented multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A true team player with excellent communication and time management skills
