We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team. This role supports the daily operations of our communities, assists with leasing and resident services, and helps ensure that everything runs smoothly. What You’ll Do
Resident & Leasing Support
Greet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, and via email
Conduct property tours and help applicants through the leasing process
Support application processing and lease preparation
Assist with move-in and move-out coordination
Help respond to resident concerns and service requests in a timely, friendly manner
Support renewal outreach and lease signing for returning residents
Enforce community rules and policies through notices and communication
Property Operations
Help oversee the day-to-day operations of one or more properties
Maintain organized records for tenants, leases, and compliance paperwork
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and the maintenance team as needed
Support property inspections, turnovers, and seasonal prep
Assist with organizing resident events and community engagement efforts
Financial & Administrative Tasks
Assist in collecting rent payments and issuing receipts
Help monitor delinquencies and send payment reminders
Enter resident data and payment information into the property management system (AppFolio)
Support the Property Manager with reporting and budget tracking
Maintain supply inventories and order office materials as needed
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in property management, leasing, or customer service preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office or Google Suite (AppFolio experience is a plus)
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Able to handle sensitive resident issues with professionalism and discretion
Reliable transportation required
Available for occasional evenings or weekends during peak periods like move-in
