Genghis Cohen is getting ready to reopen at our brand-new location, and we’re building a world-class bar team. We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Barback to support our bartenders and help bring our new craft cocktail and tiki-inspired program to life.
About the Role:
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced barback ready to step into a high-end craft environment, or someone eager to learn the foundations of a great cocktail program. You’ll work closely with our bartenders and managers, helping with prep, organization, and bar support to ensure service runs seamlessly.
Requirements:
Previous barback experience preferred
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Availability for nights and weekends
Ability to lift and move cases, kegs, and supplies as needed
Big Plus If You Have Experience With:
Fresh juice and syrup programs
Batching cocktails and draft systems
Prep and organization for a craft/tiki cocktail program
Responsibilities:
Assist bartenders with stocking, ice, glassware, and overall bar maintenance
Prep juices, syrups, garnishes, and other ingredients
Help batch cocktails and support bar program production
Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar and in prep areas
Support bartenders during service to ensure smooth and efficient operations
