Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Global Nurse Advice Line (NAL) Supervisor to lead a team of telehealth registered nurses. In this role, you will provide 24/7 access to nurse triage services, self-care advice, and general health inquiries. You will also support customer service and care coordination, including provider locator services, military treatment facility appointment scheduling, urgent care referrals, and facilitating patient transfers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare supervision, particularly in call centers or telehealth environments, with excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively implement programs and manage projects.

Schedule

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with a Monday through Friday day shift. On-call duties are required. The position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in any U.S. state or Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, nurses, customer service associates, and staff using remote and telehealth technology.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the quality of care and operational processes.
Perform audits and ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
Work comfortably and efficiently in a virtual team setting.
Utilize electronic medical records and provide expertise to nursing staff and patients according to nurse advice line protocols.
Offer guidance and support to nursing staff and patients within the military health systems' protocols.
Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience, with a focus on telehealth, nurse advice lines, or remote consultations.
Board certification in a relevant medical specialty such as family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or another field related to telehealth and clinical advice.
Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or Washington D.C.
Ability to pass any required credentialing or background checks.
U.S. citizenship is required.

This position is contingent upon the contract award, client approval, successful completion of a background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/High-Risk clearance.
