Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Public Accountant to join our team. As a CPA, you will play a crucial role in providing financial guidance and support to our clients. Your expertise in accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial analysis will be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax standards
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist clients with complex accounting issues, including buying and selling of businesses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall financial performance
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide proactive recommendations
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial concepts, and tax regulations
- Experience with financial statement preparation, journal entries, and financial report interpretation
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
