Company Job Description
The Cisco Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the hospital's data network using primarily Cisco networking hardware and software, ensuring reliable connectivity for critical medical systems and patient data across all hospital facilities, while adhering to strict healthcare regulations regarding data security and privacy.
Qualifications
-7-10 years of proficiency in network/infrastructure engineering and/or technical infrastructure support role in LAN/WAN/WLAN administration.
-Experience and demonstrated proficiency of the following: LAN/WAN/WLAN/SDN technologies.
-Data Center and Wireless technologies with a mobile presence.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and manage several independent projects simultaneously
-Cisco Nexus series switches experience- 9,300 9500, 9600
Preferred Experience for Cisco network Engineer:
-Cybersecurity technologies specializing in NAC (Cisco ISE), DNA center, and Palo Alto NGFWs. (Preferred)
-Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
-CCNP,CCDP
-Significant and successful experience in designing various IT solutions and implementation. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred, specifically a hospital or hospital system
-Preferred experience working in an environment where HIPAA and NIST compliance is in use.
-Bachelors Degree preferred not required.
