Your Job Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products Operation is seeking qualified professionals to consider for a
Civil Structural Engineer role supporting the Consumer Manufacturing Group located in
Muskogee, OK . The Muskogee facility uses integrated technology to manufacture tissue, towel, and napkin products in a progressive production environment.
The Civil Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring that all structural components within the facility meet safety standards and are designed to support the operational needs of the plant.

What You Will Do - Embrace influential leadership to support the organization while advancing our Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture
- Develop structural designs for new facilities and modifications to existing structures
- Perform structural analysis using appropriate software and engineering principles to ensure safety and compliance with codes and standards
- Manage civil and structural engineering projects from conception through completion
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Conduct regular inspections of structures to assess their condition and recommend maintenance or repair as necessary
- Ensure that all structural components are maintained in a safe and operational condition
- Ensure all designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards
- Stay updated on changes to relevant laws and standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during the building process. Resolve any issues that arise during construction to ensure design intent is met
- Prepare detailed documentation, including design calculations, drawings, and project reports
- Support project teams in the development and implementation of projects using the Georgia-Pacific Capital Project Work Processes
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Working experience as a structural and/or civil engineer
- Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial or military environment
- Familiar with application of U.S. building codes and standards
- AutoCAD (or equivalent) - minimum experience of taking measurements, drawing, mark-ups, notes/annotations
What Will Put You Ahead - Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil, Structural or any related Engineering field
- Experience using Autodesk software
- Project engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- At least one year of project management experience
