Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced
Commercial Estimator to spearhead our bidding efforts for commercial cabinetry projects. This is a remote, commission-based role with unlimited earning potential. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of construction estimating and the ability to assess project specifications to develop competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities: - Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial cabinetry work.
- Develop competitive bids and proposals tailored to project requirements.
- Communicate with general contractors, project managers, and stakeholders to clarify project scope and requirements.
- Identify potential cost savings and risk factors associated with each bid.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure estimates align with production capabilities and profitability goals.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the company owner.
Qualifications: - Basic familiarity with construction estimating, bidding processes, and reading blueprints.
- Familiarity with Construct Connect is a plus.
- Experience in cabinetry, millwork, or related industries is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software or willingness to learn company-provided tools.
