Due to recent mergers / acquisitions, Lawley is looking to add a Commercial Insurance Account Manager for their Real Estate Market team in Buffalo, NY! We are also open to the right fully remote candidate located outside the Western New York area (with occasional visits to the Buffalo office.) This position will focus on handling an established book of real estate business, working with clients as their main point of contact for questions and concerns, and advising on coverages. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, has serviced a book of commercial insurance business, and is comfortable cross selling and upselling necessary coverages. This position also requires a P&C license. Once training is complete, this position also allows for a hybrid remote/in office schedule of three days in the office, two days remote. • Manage an established book of business assigned specifically to you which would include renewals, providing summaries, ordering and issuing binders, certificates, policies, proposals and other insurance documents within designated timelines
• Conduct consultative conversations with a Commercial client base; establish & maintain carrier and client relationships
• Obtaining non-marketed renewal quotes from existing carriers, completing renewal processes and handle non-renewal and cancellations for cause; prepare complete marketing submissions on existing clients as needed
Other functions of the job:
• Identify cross sell and up-sell opportunities as appropriate
• Expand and grow in your role when supporting miscellaneous duties as requested
• Insurance experience in customer service or account management for 3 years or more
• Property/Casualty License (all lines)
• Relevant knowledge of insurance products, documents and usages
• Computers skills are a must! Word, Excel and Outlook. Applied/EPIC experience is preferred
• Ability to work well independently and on a team
• Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills
• Open to continuing education, college degree or equivalent industry designations
• Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment
• A passion to make customers and coworkers feel important and valued

The compensation range for this position takes many factors into consideration including but not limited to: years of experience/training, skill set, and licenses/designations. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for a position as circumstances and location can vary in every hiring situation. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $56,750.00 to $101,279.75.
