Location : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Benefit Compliance Analyst III primary function is to file the Exchange templates which provide data about the Individual health plans to regulators and shoppers on the Exchanges and other external quoting portals. In addition, this position will assign unique codes in compliance with regulatory and internal implementation requirements for Individual products.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
• Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
• Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
• Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
• Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
• May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.
• May be assigned responsibilities to support renewal processing to ensure premium rates are communicated and implemented accurately for Individual members
• May be involved in setting up test data for integration with state exchanges.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities And Experiences

• Advanced skillset in MS Excel and data analysis highly preferred
• Prior experience working with healthcare benefit contract filing with DOI/regulatory authorities, quality and/or medical benefit products highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) highly preferred
• Attention to detail, problem solving and an appropriate sense of urgency, adapt to changing business environments, prioritization, and tenacity preferred.
• Preferred experience with data analytics tools and software such as SQL database, business objects reporting

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $65,664 to $124,416
