Job Description

• Oversee financial operations including AP/AR, job cost accounting, and payroll
• Budgeting, forecasting and analysis
• Work-In-Progress reporting & General Ledger
• Perform monthly and annual close for three separate entities
• Produce monthly financial statements for three separate entities
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Administer Company’s 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan
• Work with outside accounting firms on annual reviews and audits
• Annual Financial Statement Review
• Workers Compensation/General Liability Audit
• 401(k) Audit
• Manage annual business insurance renewals
• Manage annual filings for ACA, personal property taxes and corporate tax returns
• Assist President with cash flow management
• Assist HR Manager with Company’s health plan administration, filings and renewal
• Manage external system integrations with Sage Intacct Construction ERP system
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of experience as Controller within the Construction industry required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Sage Intacct Construction preferred.
