About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join our dynamic team in Miami. As the Controller, you will be pivotal in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and contributing to strategic decision-making. This role requires a highly analytical mindset and the ability to manage complex financial data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
