smartdept. is searching for a Copywriter   for a luxury hospitality client located in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will come with 2-5+ years of experience. This is a part-time (fluctuating hours) , fully remote , ongoing contract opportunity. Compensation for this position is expected to be $23-26/hour depending on experience level and fit. 

The Copywriter is responsible for developing and writing all marketing materials for the company, including website copy, email campaigns, brochures, and social media posts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of copywriting and be able to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy that engages readers and motivates them to take action.

What You’ll Do:  

• Develop and write all marketing materials, including website copy, email campaigns, brochures, SMS campaigns, and social media posts
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns
• Research and analyze target audiences to develop effective marketing messages
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in copywriting and marketing
• Proofread and edit all marketing materials before they are published

What You’ll Need:  

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience as a copywriter
• Strong understanding of the principles of copywriting
• Excellent writing skills, with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and persuasiveness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and email marketing software
