Job Description

Title: Data Analyst

Location: Onsite in Washington, DC

Clearance: US Citizen, Public Trust, clear background check and drug screening

Job Description:

o Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

o Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

o Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

o Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

o Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

o Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

o Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

o Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

o Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

o Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

o Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

o Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

o Experience with advanced regression methods and causal inference methods (differences-in-differences, regression discontinuity, etc.)

o The tasks of a data analyst encompass executing a comprehensive lifecycle analysis, which includes requirements gathering, activities, and design. Data analysts will cultivate analytical and reporting competencies. They will also oversee performance and quality control strategies to find enhancements.

o Interpret data, analyze results utilizing statistical methodologies, and furnish continuous reports.

o Design and execute databases, data collection methods, data analytics, and additional tactics that enhance statistical efficiency and quality.

o Obtain data from primary or secondary sources and manage databases/data systems

o Recognize, evaluate, and elucidate trends or patterns in intricate data sets

o Refine and sanitize data by examining computer reports, printouts, and performance metrics to identify and rectify coding issues

o Collaborate with management to prioritize organizational and informational requirements.

o Identify and delineate potential for process enhancement.

o Interpret data, analyze outcomes utilizing statistical methods, and deliver continuous reports.

o Design and execute databases, data collection methods, data analytics, and additional tactics that enhance statistical efficiency and quality.

o Obtain data from primary or secondary sources and manage databases/data systems

o Recognize, examine, and elucidate trends or patterns in intricate data sets

o Refine and sanitize data by examining computer reports, printouts, and performance metrics to identify and rectify coding issues

o Collaborate with management to prioritize organizational and informational requirements.

o Identify and delineate novel potential for process enhancement.

o Proficient in sophisticated regression techniques and causal inference methodologies (such as differences-in-differences and regression discontinuity).

o Experience with WAN assessments.

o PM experience is highly preferred.

o Some onsite work in Wash DC office 3 days a week may be required. Commutable distance and willingness to Wash DC Dept of VA office.
