Director, Processes Capabilities will have responsibility for the overall plan, deployment and implementation of the strategic processes and capabilities for IBP, IFM, LCM and NPI, performance, strategic and other risk resilience programs. Further tasks / duties / responsibilities below.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic plan for the implementation of strategic processes and capabilities for IBP, IFM, LCM and NPI, performance, strategic and risk resilience programs. The proper improvements / leverage of these capabilities will ensure EP/NV Supply Chain is a competitive advantage to the business.
  • Ensure partnership with the MedTech, EP and NV teams and applicable consultants
  • Ensure the know failure-modes and opportunities for improvement are tied to root causes to past failures / opportunities; thus, ensuring a robust output for long term success
  • Ensure a robust plan is created ensuring a continuous attitude approach to implementation allotted
  • Partnering closely with the Electrophysiology / Neurovascular (EP / NV) and MedTech teams to ensure robust implementation of strategies, plans, processes, capabilities and forms. 
  • Ensure active understanding of the “why” and the “how” to accomplish these implementations, while also ensuring full understanding of these processes, capabilities and forms.
  • Ensure that EP/NV is set up for long term success with capabilities and defined maturity and improvement of such capabilities, processes and outputs
  • Create a strategy for long-term improvements and ensuring that a roadmap is created for the leverage of the business to mature with the proper translation matrices of activities and performance, while being a model for other MedTech businesses to embrace

Excellence in execution, partnering across functions

  • The defined plans, deployment and execution will be cross functional; thus requiring cross functional participation, implementation and understanding of the value required be brought forward
  • Working with industry authorities and ensuring robust processes; while ensuring the proper depth of the business is known and accounted for in the cross functional fixes.
  • Monitor performance to plan, support development of G&Os, ensure translation matrices in place and progressing forward in accordance with our goals, our credo and the development of our team members
  • Support the maintenance of portfolio planning activities, along with system, governance and execution (LCM, NPI, SCR, and more)
  • Business support leader for financial cycles of LRFP, BP, JU and NU, partnering closely with functional partners and being the keep point of contact for finance
  • Ensure execution of risk resilience programs in collaboration with the MedTech Supply Chain team (e.g. tariffs, sterilization plans / roadmaps, distribution center support / strategies, approaches to VSM, design to value / design to engineering, rapid response improvements and more)

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Ten years of related work experience
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in engineering, sciences or supply chain disciplines
  • Graduate degree/studies in business, finance or equivalent
  • Cross functional Leadership Experience
  • MedTech Partnership Experience
  • Financial Competence
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Consulting Firm Experience

Preferred Skills

  • Direct experience in multiple sectors / companies
  • operations competencies inclusive of business planning (cycles), lifecycle management, new product introduction, value stream management, competitive benchmarking, process excellence, design to value, portfolio definitions, performance monitoring, etc. 

Other

  • This position may require up to 15% of travel both internationally and domestically
  • The anticipated base pay for this position is $160,000 to $242,760
