We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dry Goods Manager to join our team at our Manufacturing Case Ready Beef Plant in Olathe, KS. As a Dry Goods Manager, you will be responsible for managing the dry goods inventory and ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety. What you’ll do:

• Manage dry goods inventory, including raw materials and packaging supplies, to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely delivery to production lines
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety
• Manage and train team members to ensure that all dry goods are properly received, stored, and distributed to production lines
• Monitor and report on inventory levels, shortages, and discrepancies to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with food safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure compliance with food safety standards and prevent contamination
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure that all dry goods are properly received, stored, and distributed to production lines
• Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and Walmart's code of conduct
• Manage budget and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimize inventory management strategies

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
• Proven experience in managing inventory levels and optimizing inventory management strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

Working Conditions:

• The dry goods manager will be required to work in a cold storage environment and may be exposed to extreme temperatures and humidity levels.
• The dry goods manager may be required to work in confined spaces and may be exposed to dust and other airborne particles.
• The dry goods manager may be required to lift and move product of up to 50 pounds.

Schedule:

• This is a full-time position, with a standard schedule of Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. However, the schedule may vary depending on business needs.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$139,000.00

‎ 

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years’ experience in purchasing and/or inventory management in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
2 years’ experience in a logistics supply chain or manufacturing environment.
