The CalSTRS Facilities Services Division is seeking a motivated individual to work as a Staff Services Manager (Supervisory)in the Facilities Mail & Imaging Services (FMIS) Unit.
The Facilities Services Unit is responsible for overseeing Business Services, and Facilities Mail and Imaging Services. Business Services oversees asset inventory/property control; certified destruct; conference room setup; copy center; core area supply inventory; daily messenger runs; fax/copy equipment service, maintenance, toner replacement, etc.; forms management; overnight services; and vehicle fleet administration. Facilities Mail & Imaging Services oversees Corporate Imaging; Mail Services; and Member Imaging. Facilities Services’ other responsibilities include contracts for equipment maintenance and service, as well as divisional budget oversight.
The Facilities Mail & Imaging Services (FMIS) unit’s primary responsibility is to maintain CalSTRS’ corporate and member imaging services, as well as providing mail services organization wide. Corporate Imaging provides imaging services for units that do not directly interact with member accounts and START (CalSTRS pension administration system). Member Imaging provides imaging services for CalSTRS’ units who interact directly with members and process member account transactions. Mail Services provides various incoming and outgoing mail services enterprise wide.
Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager III in Facilities Services, the Staff Services Manager I (Supervisory) operating as the supervisory Manager, supports the goals and objectives of the Administrative Services Branch and is responsible for team management and operational activities of the unit’s Mail Services team.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Every 12 months, based on performance evaluation, employees may receive a 5% salary increase until they reach the maximum salary for the position.
