Job Description

The Human Resource team is currently seeking an enthusiastic intern to support our day-to-day HR functions, with a special focus on the internship program and process improvement projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various aspects of HR while contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency within the department.

Job Summary:

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience across various aspects of Human Resources. You will be involved in recruiting, supporting internal growth initiatives, organizing and tracking internship program engagement, assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, and collaborating with the HR team to enhance and streamline ongoing projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating internal events or meetings for the internship program, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all participants
  • Cntribute to recruitment efforts by maintaining the applicant tracking system, screening applications, and coordinating or conducting interviews as needed
  • Support various HR projects by handling administrative tasks and ensuring timely project completion
  • Provide support to regular meetings intended to address intern needs, ensuring a positive and productive internship experience
  • Help manage employee relations, including supporting performance evaluations and facilitating communication within the internship program
  • Aid in the onboarding and offboarding processes for interns, from organizing orientations and tracking training plans to facilitating transitional steps during the exit process

Requirements:

Must be a student and currently enrolled in college seeking a degree. Majors in Human Resources, Business Administration or Business Management are preferred, but not required. Must be available to commit 15-25 hours per week during the spring/fall semesters and 25-40 hours per week during the summer months.
