Job Description

Overview:

Our client, a leader in the technology space, is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to be their sole HR professional in the U.S. This pivotal role requires a dynamic individual with robust experience in HR compliance/legal, immigration, and billable/bench pay management. The ideal candidate will bring expertise from the technology or tech-adjacent industries, ensuring alignment with the company’s culture and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR functions within the U.S., managing compliance, employee relations, and legal requirements.

  • Oversee immigration processes, including H1B visa applications and employee sponsorships.

  • Manage payroll processes, with a strong focus on billable and bench pay structures.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies tailored to the organization’s goals.

  • Partner with global teams to align HR initiatives across borders.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights on workforce planning and organizational development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

  • 5–10 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.

  • Proven experience with employee relations, immigration management (H1B, L2), compensation analysis, and performance management.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, especially in complex jurisdictions.

  • Experience managing processes related to billable hours and bench pay.

  • Familiarity with systems such as Trinet, Employee Navigator, SAP Systems, or NetSuite is a plus.

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.

  • Hands-on approach with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 (depending on experience)
