The Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to hire a Certified Nursing Assistant. This position will serve under the general supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, this position will perform nursing assistance and personal care services for individuals with physical and/or mental impairments who reside in homes operated by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) to meet regulatory guidelines for DVA and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH); assistance typically includes physical care, activities of daily living, patient feeding, bathing, personal hygiene care, ambulation, transfer of residents, dressing needs; takes and records vital signs; prepares and maintains records and reports. This title is within the Upward Mobility Program.
