Key Responsibilities
Ensure the companys compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Provide legal guidance on employment law, data protection, and corporate governance.
Monitor changes in legislation and advise the management team on potential impacts.
Conduct regular audits to ensure internal policies and procedures comply with legal standards.
Handle any legal disputes, liaising with external counsel when necessary.
Develop and maintain compliance policies and training programs for employees.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Law, or a related field.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is highly preferred.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably in a corporate setting.
Familiarity with employment law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
Salary Range
$60,000 to $75,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications).
