Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the companys compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Provide legal guidance on employment law, data protection, and corporate governance.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and advise the management team on potential impacts.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure internal policies and procedures comply with legal standards.
  • Handle any legal disputes, liaising with external counsel when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and training programs for employees.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Law, or a related field.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is highly preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Familiarity with employment law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

Salary Range

  • $60,000 to $75,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications).
