Acara Solutions is seeking a Mail Room Assistant for our client in Scottsdale, AZ

Mail Room Assistant responsibilities:

• Receiving inbound mail and packages 
• Time/date stamp all incoming/outgoing mail.
• Sorts and delivers incoming mail by department and/or employee to ensure timely distribution.
• Sorts and delivers interdepartmental mail including notices and memoranda.
• Picks up departmental mail.
• Operates mail machines including the postage meter, photocopying machine, and mail folding and inserting machine.
• Processes and weighs outgoing mail.
• Maintains records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information.
• Replenishes postage on the postage meter as needed.
• Stock supplies needed for the mailroom.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• This role is Temp to Perm
• Shift: 8 am- 5 pm
• Payrate is $18.00 p/hr.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED, HS Diploma
• 2 years of related shipping or admin support experience.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint 
• Works independently on moderately complex and semi-routine tasks. 
• Communicates effectively and professionally
• Follows safety procedures and guidelines 
• Must be able to pass required Pre-Employment Screenings
