Manufacturing Engineer – Automotive Assembly
Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 per year

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize the assembly and testing of mechatronic products in a fast-paced automotive production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLCs, PLEX Manufacturing Cloud, statistical analysis, continuous improvement, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and optimize assembly processes for current production and new product lines.
Develop and implement in-process and end-of-line testing procedures.
Analyze manufacturing data using statistical methods to improve processes.
Drive automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Conduct capacity analysis to ensure optimal resource utilization.
Implement measures to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Maintain documentation of assembly and testing processes, work instructions, and quality control measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
Contribute to budget planning, project timelines, and special assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in automotive assembly of mechatronic systems.
Proficiency in middleware such as Ignition and PLC.
Experience with PLEX Manufacturing Cloud.
Strong knowledge of assembly processes and automation in manufacturing.
Background in statistical analysis, continuous improvement, and OEE strategies.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
