Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis of specimens.
- Adhere to established laboratory protocols and quality control measures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting of results.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting.
- ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Blood bank experience.
- Experience with microbiology.
Special Considerations:
- Must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) out of three.
- 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM shift, 16 weeks.
- Only Medical Technologists and Medical Lab Scientists will be considered; Medical Lab Technicians will not.
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility.
Scheduling:
- Night shift (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM).
- 16-week assignment.
- Holiday work is mandatory.
