Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school program of Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)- new grads are welcome to apply!
  • Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Texas by anticipated start date
  • Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily required

Job Duties:

  • Provides treatment as directed and supervised by the licensed Occupational Therapist for patients on assigned caseload according to discipline standards
  • Observes, records, and reports any significant changes in the patient’s condition to the Director/Assistant Director, Supervising Occupational Therapist, and physician.
  • Assists in ensuring that all patient areas are properly cleaned and sanitized at the end of each treatment session
  • Collaborates with all team members to plan and carry out the best possible therapeutic program for assigned caseload
