Office Assistant/Receptionist Location Wooster, OH : Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily office operations, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Responsibilities
Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized office records.
Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
Utilize computer software for various tasks, including QuickBooks for financial record-keeping and other office applications for document management.
Accurately type and prepare invoices, reports, and other documents.
Assist in scheduling appointments for customers.
Assist customers with new and existing orders.
Maintain an orderly office environment by ensuring supplies are stocked.
Requirements
Experience with basic bookkeeping or willingness to learn.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining organization.
A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
