Your Role with The Company:
You’ll be the culture-setter and ops architect for a high-performing facility with 160 employees and a whole lot of opportunity. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Ops, you’ll lead a multi-departmental team, drive continuous improvement, and bring calm, strategic energy to a fast-growing business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
– Leading a team of 5–6 direct reports and ~160 total employees
– Driving plant performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC)
– Building a positive, empowered culture through transformational leadership
– Coaching and developing your team at all levels
– Establishing Lean/CI practices, 6S systems, and performance tracking
– Being a key voice in shaping the plant’s strategic direction
– Collaborating cross-functionally across multiple facilities
– Instilling the sense that professional development and continuous improvement are a part of the organization’s culture.
– This is a high-profile position that is critical to the performance of the business and you will be a key player in achieving success.
Background Profile:
– 7+ years if Operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
– Knowledge of resins, plastic films or flexible packaging preferred
– Coaching and mentoring leadership style
– Experience with change management and strategic planning during a high-growth phase
– High sense of urgency with a passion for continuous improvement
– Bachelor’s Degree preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
