Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS)
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize system performance
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose and resolve issues with PLC systems
- Provide technical support to production teams as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in working with precision measuring instruments
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot issues in logic controllers
- Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems
- Mechanical knowledge for maintenance and repair tasks
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Experience with field service work, including on-site troubleshooting and repairs
- Knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS) and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines
