As part of the Capacity planning team, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced candidate who knows datacenters front to back. This requires being able to connect demand to supply, and have a strong understanding of datacenter design, delivery, and the products and hardware that go inside. To be successful in this role we require a candidate who loves data, and not afraid to dive into complexity to make thoughtful judgement and calculated risks. We also need a great communicator - this is a complex dynamic space and we need someone who can distill the complexity into easy to digest executive ready communications. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. This role will support the Data Center Capacity Planning team in creating scalable and repeatable processes. Additional responsibilities include: + Driving power, space and network block capacity planning globally. + Overseeing and tracking day-to-day project milestones to ensure launches are executed at the highest quality. + Overseeing and tracking business critical DC expansion projects. + Establishing priorities, identifying and communicating risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders; developing and maintaining program milestones and completion dates. + Using operational metrics to drive process improvement and efficiencies with a focus on creating scalable processes. + The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in creating and refining operational processes. The ability to direct multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment and a strong customer focus is required. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
