Production Maintenance Supervisor REGENESIS is the world's leader in the development of production and environmental restoration products. Our Gallatin, TN facility is expanding and has an opening for a Production Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance operations. Job Summary: We seek a forward-thinking, self-motivated, and budget-minded Production Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This individual must be capable of operating and leading a maintenance department with minimal supervision from management and contributing to facility expansion projects while keeping maintenance costs in check.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in predicting upcoming repairs, ensuring replacement parts are on hand, and managing maintenance budgets efficiently. This role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, including ball milling equipment, and handling general facility maintenance. Experience in P&ID interpretation, PLC troubleshooting/programming, and facility expansion is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities: - Operate and supervise the maintenance department independently with minimal management.
- Lead and supervise installation, troubleshooting, and repairs of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and ball milling equipment.
- Perform and appropriately task subordinates in preventative maintenance on ball mills, crushers, conveyors, and other equipment to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Oversee, task, and execute facility maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural upkeep.
- Play a key role in facility expansion projects, including equipment selection, installation, and infrastructure improvements.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective repairs and efficient resource allocation.
- Accurately predict upcoming repairs and proactively order necessary replacement parts to minimize downtime.
- Read, interpret, and apply P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) to maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues, focusing strongly on ball milling equipment.
- Troubleshoot and assist in PLC programming for automation systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Adequately supervise maintenance and repair of gearboxes, bearings, drive systems, and liners in ball milling equipment.
- Guide and oversee Install, align, and dismantle machinery while following all safety protocols.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and machine modifications as needed.
- Maintain department compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Maintain an organized inventory of critical spare parts, minimizing equipment downtime.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment updates.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal production disruption.
- Provide insights and recommendations for facility expansions, process improvements, and equipment upgrades.
Qualifications & Skills: - High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- Proven ability to foster a high level team of maintenance personnel that perform on time results.
- Millwright certification or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and operate a maintenance department with minimal supervision.
- Forward-thinking mindset with experience in facility expansions or major infrastructure projects.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, millwrighting, and facility maintenance.
- Strong financial awareness with the ability to manage maintenance budgets effectively.
- Experience working with ball mills, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Experience in PLC troubleshooting and basic programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Proven ability to predict maintenance needs and ensure the availability of replacement parts.
- Ability to weld (MIG, TIG, or Stick) and fabricate as needed.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
Pay/Benefits: - This position will be within the range of $28.45-$38.46/hour based on experience.
