About the Company:

A design-build firm licensed as an engineering firm, with the ability to stamp our own drawings. With a team of 30 employees, we specialize in commercial construction projects, including high-rise residential, healthcare facilities, commercial office spaces, tenant improvements, and data centers.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager (PM) with at least 5 years of experience in managing commercial projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the successful execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet client expectations and stay within budget and timeline. This role is onsite , with most projects located in the Mid West area, though some travel to Kentucky and the Carolinas may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a wide variety of commercial construction projects (high-rise residential, healthcare, commercial office space, data centers) from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Estimators, BIM Coordinators, and Professional Engineers.
  • Ensure projects comply with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in design-build processes and review stamped drawings produced by the in-house team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial project management (experience in high-rise, healthcare, office space, and tenant improvements is highly preferred).
  • Knowledge of NEC preferred.
  • Experience working in design-build environments .
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed (occasional trips to project sites).
  • Onsite role with no option for 100% remote work (hybrid flexibility not preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree is not required, but practical experience is highly valued.
  • Previous experience in estimating is a plus, as many of our PMs transition from this role.
