Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Engineer) with strong business analysis skills to join our team and help shape the future of our software solutions. This role is perfect for someone who’s a detail-driven tester and thoughtful problem solver, someone who ensures our tools work flawlessly
and that they make sense for the people using them.
This role is hybrid and based in Papillion, NE. Initially, the role will require a heavier in-office presence, for training and relationship-building purposes. After that, the schedule will be 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

What You’ll Work On: The majority of your time will be spent on
SolutionView Tablet , a mobile sales app used in the field by contractors. You’ll also support a growing suite of workflow tools across web and mobile applications.
What You’ll Do: Test Planning & Execution - Gain deep understanding of SolutionView’s workflows and how admin settings impact the user
- Design test strategies that reflect actual contractor workflows: pricing logic, form structures, and proposals
- Develop and maintain repeatable manual and automated test cases
- Validate third-party integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Improveit 360, Zapier)
Collaboration & Documentation - Work closely with a product manager, designer, and engineers to understand feature goals and implementation details
- Document defects, regression results, and key findings using Jira
- Participate in rollout planning and user readiness activities
Support & Improvement - Contribute to QA strategy, tools, and process refinement
- Provide Level 2 support for escalated issues, bringing a QA perspective on customer reported issues.
- Recommend product enhancements based on testing and user feedback
- Document defects, regression results, and key findings in Jira
- Participate in rollout planning and user readiness activities
What You Bring: - Bachelor’s in computer science, IT or related field
- Minimum three (3) years of experience writing and executing test plans for software applications with a data focus
- A curious, analytical mindset and an eye for detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in complex systems with configurable logic
- Ability to collaborate across functions and influence product direction
- Confidence in documenting and articulating defects and test results clearly
Bonus Points for - Experience with automated testing frameworks
- Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools
- Comfort using SQL or Excel for data validation
