Job Description

Job Summary:

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to meet staffing needs. This role involves developing job postings, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring efforts with hiring managers, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The Recruiter also builds and maintains a strong talent pipeline, engages in networking activities, and ensures compliance with hiring policies and employment regulations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create position descriptions and post job requisitions daily and weekly based on priorities from Operations and Business Development (BD) group .

  • Develop and implement effective recruiting methods and strategies aligned with industry standards and organizational needs.

  • Manage job postings and advertising across various job boards and social media platforms.

  • Screen applications, identify qualified candidates, and coordinate interview scheduling.

  • Prepare interview materials and assist in conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR staff to facilitate the offer process, including salary recommendations, incentives, and start dates.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with proper documentation and pipeline management.

  • Monitor and manage applicant reviews, outreach, and responses on a daily and weekly basis.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers (PMs) to align hiring efforts with project needs.

  • Occasionally represent the company at community outreach events, such as college career fairs.

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to support staffing efforts.

  • Achieve monthly recruitment goals through collaboration with the hiring team.

  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Ability to function effectively and contribute as a member of a high performing team

Education and Experience:

  • Required: Associate degree in Human Resources or Business

  • Required: One year of staffing or recruiting

  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

  • Preferred: SHRM certification or ability to work toward

Physical Requirements:

  • May require occasional travel to physical locations

  • This job operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
