POSITION - Union: Reprographics Technician

NUMBER OF OPEN POSITIONS: 1

LOCATION: ME - Augusta - General Office

HOURLY RATE RANGE: $22.73-$27.77

JOB SUMMARY:

This entry-level position is responsible for learning the coordination and timely reproduction of company records, maps, and forms in accordance with requests received. Files, retrieves, and accurately maintains corporate drawing files. Prioritizes and issues work between copying, mailing and shipping services.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs photocopying of all Corporate drawings, circuit maps, and other large company engineering support data.
• Performs assembling and distributing of company map books.
• Performs scanning of Corporate drawings and documents and linking them to the corporate database for viewing electronically.
• Provides support for filing, retrieving, and maintaining corporate drawings.
• Learn multiple photocopying machines software.
• Other ancillary duties related to the core functions of the job as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to self-motivate, self-direct and demonstrate initiative.
• Able to perform in a team environment.
• Able to maintain and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Able to work with little supervision.
• Proven communications skills.
• Demonstrate ability to work with others.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

• Completion of manufacturer school on printer and associated software or on-the-job training for these tasks
• Learn maintenance of corporate drawings.
• Learn Microsoft Office Suite.
