Position Summary

The STERIS Intern role will support the STERIS Instrument Processing (IP) team through data gathering and analytics, project management, and process improvement initiatives. This role will provide support by working cross-functionally with various business units to understand business needs, identify gaps, and make recommendations for improvement. Focus of the role is on utilizing Customer insights to develop operational improvements resulting in an exceptional Customer experience.

What You'll do as a Sales Operations Intern

• Coordinate with business leaders and key stakeholders to learn the business and identify and document STERIS and Customer needs
• Collaborate with manager to identify potential solutions to business problems
• Develop and utilize reporting tools. Improve visibility into key metrics and trends to facilitate informed business decisions
• Prepare and present business case for potential solutions
• Support operational and cross-functional projects to improve Customer experience
• Educate key stakeholders on industry trends identified through previous university education and professional experiences
• Present summarized insights and feedback to leadership to demonstrate progress and accomplishments

The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed

Required:

• A four-year degree in Health Administration or a related field is required
• Must be pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Administration or a related field
• Working experience with all Microsoft programs, and knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software. Ability to learn CRM, Tableau, and other systems

• Must be a self-starter, resourceful, creative, analytical, and detail oriented
