Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location:  Reston, VA
Employment Type: Contract (4 days on-site)
Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $45.00/hour

Job Description: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of our client. Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling the full accounting cycle, including payroll, receivables, payables, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
• Preparing monthly financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
• Conducting tax planning and filing, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all regulatory documents.
• Collaborating with management to provide insightful statistical analysis and interpretation, aiding in strategic decision-making.
• Leading and inspiring a team to add value to our company's mission.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in managing accounting operations and producing financial statements.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in cost modeling, capital budgeting decisions, and what-if analysis.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work on-site for four days per week in Reston, VA.
