Job: Senior BI Analyst with (Data Engineer)

Location: Remote in CST

Duration: 6 month CTH (GC USC ONLY)

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform raw data across bronze, silver, and gold layers in our cloud data warehouse.
• Harmonize disparate data sources into a unified schema to support reliable cross-company reporting and analytics.
• Implement and enforce data modeling best practices, metadata management, and data quality checks at each tier.
• Build interactive, high-performance dashboards and visualizations using Power BI (or equivalent) to surface insights and KPIs to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with analysts, business owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and production-ready data solutions.
• Optimize SQL queries, ETL/ELT workflows, and warehouse performance for large-scale datasets.
• Write clear, maintainable documentation for data models, pipeline processes, and reporting standards.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and change management processes to ensure quality and governance.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of combined experience in BI/reporting and data engineering roles.
• Expertise in SQL, relational databases, and modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Databricks ).
• Deep understanding of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modeling, and data layering (bronze/silver/gold).
• Proven experience building Power BI dashboards, data models, and DAX calculations; familiarity with Power Query.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT development skills using tools or frameworks like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or equivalent .
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose data issues, implement data quality controls, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapts quickly to changing priorities.

• Experience with dbt (data build tool) for modular, tested data transformations.
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data processing and automation.
• Knowledge of CRM/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Acumatica, Salesforce) and financial data domains.
• Background in machine learning or advanced analytics projects.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., SnowPro, Azure Data Engineer, AWS Specialty).
