What We're Looking For We’re seeking a Senior Attorney with at least 5 years of Family Law experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both legal excellence and genuine human connection to the table.
Minimum Requirements: • Active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar
• 5+ years of family law experience with a strong litigation background
• Proven ability to manage cases from start to finish
• Exceptional legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Tech-savvy (familiarity with Apple/Mac systems is a plus)
• Ability to track time accurately in a case management system
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism

Compensation & Benefits Salary: Between $110,000/year - $170,000/year (based on experience and qualifications)

• No nights or weekends
Location: • Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Dallas, TX 75231 prior to starting

Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of family law cases from intake through final resolution, including hearings, trials, and post-judgment matters.
• Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, proposed orders, final decrees, and related legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients to provide updates, manage expectations, and deliver strategic legal guidance.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to requests, reviewing documents, and conducting or defending depositions.
• Prepare for and represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences with confidence and professionalism.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategy and ensure compliance with the Texas Family Code and procedural rules.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in Texas, in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of Family Law experience, including substantial litigation and courtroom exposure.
• Superior legal writing, analytical, and research skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and manage client relationships with empathy and professionalism.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a demanding caseload independently, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with legal technology and case management systems; experience with Apple/Mac products preferred.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and commitment to confidentiality and professional responsibility.
