We utilize tools, process and knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai solutions for our clients. We collaborate to solve problems, innovate and work to continuously improve for our customers and our team. We provide technical services across web, media, enterprise and security products. **Become a trusted advisor** As a Senior Security Consultant, you'll be the security contact, ensuring the integration and support of customers. Acting as a trusted consultant, you'll learn and implement creative solutions helping customers leverage Akamai's products. As a Senior Security Consultant, you will be responsible for: + Being the central point of contact for customers and leading the integrated account team delivering customer success + Partnering with the business to review and ensure integration efficiency, high quality service and keep customers engaged + Identifying service enhancements and potential problems to ensure continuous improvements to quality of customer service delivery + Communicating with internal, external customers and partners to share information and deliverables **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field or its equivalent + Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the information technology industry + Show understanding of working with network technologies, web security or media related technologies, methodologies and/or architectures + Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CySA+, GPEN, CEH, etc are helpful + Have a natural ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with customers in difficult environments + Demonstrate experience in delivering technical projects with an ability to manage multiple priorities + Be a good tam player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world. The base salary for this position ranges from $108,900 - $226,100/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
