Job Description

✍ Short Description:
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Video Editor to craft high-performing short-form videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll work with a mix of raw footage and existing assets to produce engaging content using CapCut and other editing tools, helping us boost reach, views, and engagement across channels.

Compensation: Competitive salary in USD

Responsibilities:

Edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Use CapCut and/or other editing tools to add captions, transitions, effects, and sound
Repurpose existing footage into engaging platform-specific content
Keep up with social media trends and apply them to video edits
Collaborate with the content team to align on brand, tone, and messaging
Ensure timely delivery of edits while maintaining high visual quality

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience editing videos for social media
Proficient in CapCut and at least one other tool like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects
Strong understanding of short-form video formats and platform-specific specs
Attention to detail and a creative approach to storytelling
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with motion graphics or light animation
Familiarity with content strategy or digital marketing
Comfort using project management tools (e.g., Notion, Asana)
Experience working with brands, influencers, or UGC
