TAX PROFESSIONALS

Khoo & Company, Inc. is an established San Francisco CPA firm that provides business and personal tax planning and compliance services to domestic and international clients.

We are a small firm specializing in tax planning and compliance with particular expertise in international taxation.Our global clients span a wide range of industries.

Due to growth we are seeking full time tax professionals in our San Francisco office. This is an excellent career growth and advancement opportunity for motivated individuals and also to obtain valuable experience in interesting and challenging domestic and international tax planning, research, and compliance projects.

Senior/Supervising Tax Analyst
Responsibilities:

  • Review and supervise the preparation of income tax returns
  • Perform tax research and tax planning
  • Mentor and provide guidance and train staff
  • Identify complex tax issues and provide solutions
  • Maintain strong relationship with clients
  • Participate in firm management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or equivalent
  • CPA certification or foreign equivalent, or demonstrated progress towards obtaining it.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience (international tax experience highly desired)
  • Masters’ degree or MS Tax a plus
  • Proficient in conducting complex tax research
  • Proficient in the preparation and review of business and personal tax returns

Tax Manager
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain multi - client projects and relationships
  • Supervise the preparation of income tax returns
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Perform complex tax research, consulting and provide client communications and memorandums
  • Mentor and provide guidance and train staff
  • Internal firm procedures, staffing, and project management
  • Practice and business development and marketing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or equivalent
  • CPA certification or JD.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in business and personal taxation (international tax experience highly desirable)
  • MS in Taxation or LLM in Taxation preferred
  • Proficient in conducting complex tax research
