Job Description

Job Summary

Seeking a passionate and faith-filled K-8 Music Teacher to inspire and develop students’ musical talents. The ideal candidate will provide engaging music instruction that nurtures creativity, fosters an appreciation for music, and integrates Catholic values into the curriculum

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum for elementary students.
  • Teach vocal and instrumental music, rhythm, and movement activities appropriate for various grade levels.
  • Prepare students for school Masses, concerts, and other liturgical celebrations.
  • Incorporate Catholic teachings and values into music instruction.
  • Foster a love for music and encourage students’ confidence in performance.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration to support the school’s mission.
  • Maintain classroom instruments and materials.
  • Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in music education or a related field (required).
  • Practicing Catholic in good standing preferred.
  • Experience teaching music to elementary students is a plus.
  • Ability to teach a variety of musical styles, including liturgical music.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
