Business Analyst Intern

Description:

As a Business Analyst Intern at Rackner, you will work closely with our experienced team to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and provide valuable insights to support key decision-making processes. You will have the chance to engage in various projects, learn from industry experts, and contribute to the growth and development of the organization, primarily centered around federal contracts.

Key responsibilities include: collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and patterns; assisting in creating and maintaining detailed reports and dashboards to monitor business performance; collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide data-driven recommendations; conducting research and market analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making; assisting in the development of business processes and workflow improvements; and participating in meetings and contributing to brainstorming sessions.

The internship requires 10 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week in the summer, with more than 51% of the time spent in the office.

Requirements:

Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to prove HUBZone occupancy in the current year within the first week of employment using one of the following methods: lease covering March 26 to September 23, driver's license acquired before March 26, or voter registration card acquired before March 26. Students at the University of Maryland likely reside in a HUBZone.
