Case Manager job at Solomon Page Bronx, NY, US

Job Description

Our client, a non-profit organization providing housing and services to homeless and formerly homeless populations seek a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Case Manager for the Bronx, their non-time-limited supportive housing for formerly homeless LGBT young adults.

Pay rate: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
License/Certification:MSW (Required)

Responsibilities:

Will report directly to the site Director of LGBTQ Supportive Housing
Responsible for providing individual and group mental health counseling as well as developing service plans for residents.
Interviewing and assessing all housing applicants
Completing all necessary documentation for NY/NYIII Housing referrals

Required Qualifications:

MSW (Master Social Work), preferred or in a related field
Plus, a minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience in the field is required
Additional requirements include experience working with homeless youth and in particular awareness and cultural sensitivity to LGBT youth issues and concerns.
Work experience in a residential setting is preferred
