Company Overview: Our client is a civil construction company that mainly focuses on roads and highways in greater Orlando area.
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a General Laborer with a minimum of two years of outdoor construction experience to manage and maintain construction site cleanliness and safety.
Expected Start Date: Mid-February
Key Responsibilities:
· Clear and clean construction sites of debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
· Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.
· Assist with the mixing and preparation of concrete and other construction materials.
· Organize and maintain materials and tools in designated areas.
· Set up and maintain barriers, signs, and cones to ensure the safety of the site and pedestrians.
· Assist with marking and laying out construction areas according to project plans.
· Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Key Qualifications & Skills:
· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Minimum of two years of experience in construction or related fields is a plus.
· Required Valid Driver’s License
· Ability to perform physical labor and work in various weather conditions.
· Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
· Capable of lifting 50 to 100 lbs. regularly
· Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
