Job Duties

• Assists the shift supervisor in overseeing night warehouse operation and employee performance
• Assists the supervisor in ensuring that safety, quality and performance/productivity and customer experience standards are met
• Uses strong leadership skills to communicate with and motivate employees
• Assists in performing warehouse duties – including picking, palletizing, load-building and loading of trucks – as needed to support operations
• Safely operates essential warehouse equipment, including forklifts, wrap machines and other automation
• Ensures that the warehouse is kept neat and orderly to promote safe and efficient operations
• Overseeing and conducting the night warehouse supervisors’ rolls when he is not present
• Assists night warehouse supervisor in setting goals, including those relating to operational performance, safety and regulatory standards
• Maintains favorable working relationships with employees and customers to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment
• Identifies process improvement opportunities and implementing in partnership with other members of leadership
• Trains newly hired employees and other personnel as assigned
• Assumes supervisor responsibilities when needed to provide coverage for absences

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Some college education preferred
• 1-3 years experience leading, coaching and developing staff preferred
• Previous experience in warehousing and/or distribution preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical Demands and Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching and twisting for shifts lasting 8+ hours
• Ability to lift and carry 40lbs regularly
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move 25lbs, occasionally lift and/or move 100lbs
• Comfort working in refrigerated areas of the warehouse

The history of Eagle Rock Distributing Company goes all the way back the Prohibition Era, selling non-alcoholic beer and Canada Dry Ginger Ale. Quite a bit has changed since then and today we distribute a wide-array of premium and craft beers, cider, import beers, wines, spirits, as well as non-alcoholic beverages and local products out of our locations in Georgia and Colorado. Eagle Rock entered the Colorado market in late-2020, assuming distribution operations for Anheuser-Busch products across the state. Today, we have nearly 500 employees in the state, operating out of 6 locations, and continue to welcome new positions to support our growth in the state.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range: $23.00 per hour

(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level)
