Areas of leadership include but are not limited to:

  • Training, scheduling, and payroll
  • Short- and long-term planning
  • Developing, recommending, and adhering to the budget, labor cost plans, and objectives 
  • Management of inventory 
  • Ensuring the inspection program is consistently maintained and inspecting rooms daily
  • Working closely with vendors to assure proper pricing, delivery, and maintenance
  • Assuring all safety, security, OSHA, and ADA policies and procedures are followed
  • Maintaining proper staffing levels to achieve customer service goals 
  • Coaching and motivating colleagues to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures

The salary range for this position is $91,200 to $95,700 (commensurate with experience).

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • 4 years or more of progressive hotel leadership experience including Housekeeping, and as a department head, preferred 
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and ability to improve financial results
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
  • Knowledge of the latest housekeeping and laundry technology
  • Experience purchasing linens and housekeeping supplies
  • Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc.
